Here are 3 more of my favorite podcasts:
- Astronomy Cast. If you like solid but understandable doses of what we know now about various astronomical objects and phenomena, this is for you. Right now I’m working my way through a tour of the solar system. It’s amazing what we have learned in the past few decades.
- From the Case Files at the Franklin Institute. Fascinating programs based on files saved in connection with over a century of scientific awards made by Philadelphia’s Franklin Institute. A real treasure. If you like the history of science this one is for you.
- The World Beyond the Headlines from the University of Chicago. High quality lectures dealing with contemporary international social and political issues. You may not always agree but speakers are given opportunities to speak at length. A welcome respite from sound bites.
